I grew up in a home filled with original art.  Each piece was chosen with love and could captivate my attention for hours.  In this same vein, I absolutely believe every person should own an original piece of art.  Visit galleries and art shows and fall in love. 

I also believe there is room in one's home for art with personal meaning.  How wonderful to have a picture taken on a family vacation, hand painted and placed on your wall.  Each time you pass the canvas, memories will fill your soul, and you will remember the smell of the ocean, the feel of the breeze on your face and the sound of your children laughing that day. 

As for me, I have been painting on and off for 20 years.  Over the last few years I have focused my efforts on oil painting and love it.  I try very hard to capture individual moments in time and make them even more amazing.
